I grew up in the Cadillac area and graduated from Cadillac High School in 1990. After two years at Northwestern Michigan College I started working for Wexford County Family Court and received my Court Reporting license in 1994. In 2000, I accepted a position as the Administrative Assistant for the Wexford County Department of Public Works where I am still employed today. I married Rob Hill in 1998 and our family consists of Lacey age 17, Alana age 7, Brianna age 4 and of course our two dogs and cat. Rob has been in the construction industry for 17 years and is the owner of Hillside Interiors.
I have always been passionate about the beauty industry but I never imagined owning my own salon. Everyone always asks if I am a Cosmetologist and don't be shocked when I say no, I'm just one a heart. After some hard work and a lot of faith, PoSH emerged in the fall of 2007. I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our clients, but still have a unique appearance that you would only see in the larger cities. Luckily, I had the help of Sally Goggin and I married a contractor. It wasn't just the esthetics of the building that I wanted to be different, but the ability to be innovative with the services we offered. I love bringing new services in the salon that allow clients more options without having to travel out of town to receive them. We want to give our clients not just a service but an experience. We want our clients to relax, have fun and enjoy their time at PoSH. We believe it is our responsibility to be forward thinking, receive advanced education and provide exceptional customer service.
